Email from Mr. George Spyrou - President/Owner
Hello Elijah,
Further to our conversation this afternoon, we have attached some images of our Skyship type airships - the largest in the world. We can seat up to 12 passengers, with 2 pilots up front (and even a lavatory in the back) so we can carry VIPs and your guests in support of the Ron Paul candidacy.
As mentioned, our rate would be USD $350,000 per month all inclusive and we could start with one month, with an option to extend if things go well. We have a ship, presently on contract to the US Navy which ends on December 1. She then returns to our base in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and could be ready for you in December. We shall just need your artwork as soon as possible. We could then begin immediately.
Do let us know how you wish to proceed. We'd love to help.
Good luck and best regards,
George Spyrou

Full pricing & details for the LightShips here in a 4 MB .doc file.
I spoke with Toby at Light Ships, he was great and extremely helpful! Unfortunatly the smallest blimp (135 ft) they have is a 3 month contract and is $222,000/month + $75,000 for a full vinyl wrap or $15,000 for a pair of banners. The larger video lightship required a 12 month contract, $350,000 month and had a 4-6 month lead time.

These are hot air blimps and have a 12 month minimum contract and are 350K per month + the cost of the artwork. They light up inside with a internal lighting system. These have the benefit over helium because you can deflate, pack up, transport and reinflate. This provides the ability to move to other geographic locations quickly. Lead time was 6 months.

1. Rough schedule
I assume the winter weather in Iowa and NH would not be good enough for a blimp. Suppose Ron does well in New Hampshire. Then how about a blimpkrieg as follows?
- South Carolina primary flyovers Jan 12 - Jan 19 SC primary Jan. 19.
- Victory flight to Florida Jan. 20-21
- Florida primary flyovers Jan. 21- Jan 27 FL primary Jan 29
- Transfer to the West Jan 28-30
- Super Bowl week flyovers, Phoenix Jan 31- Feb 2
- California primary flyovers Feb 3- Feb 5 CA primary Feb. 5
