Cross your fingers — It’s Hangar Time

Due to the bungees breaking we’ll be arriving at Elizabeth City, NC and the hangar with only a few hour’s notice. Because of the sudden nature of our need we were unable to plan this hangar trip strategically, taking wind and hangar operator’s hours into consideration, so please cross your fingers for us that conditions will let us get in and out ASAP.

Keep up the good work guys! We need the blimp one time in NH and then to the fairer climes of SC (another early state). Perhaps they can take in one of the NFL playoff games when they start.

We need to be at football games and stadium events as much as possible!

I will keep donating and help. So far I am in for $250 which is a lot to me because of the Bush economy. More $$$ is coming. Keep flying.

Ground video by national landmarks as much as possible. Get a ground crew to film it as it passes famous buildings, bridges, monuments and historical sights. The more video the better.

When you are “off the air” play loops of the blimp with a “Taped rebroadcast” ticker scrolling across the screen. People want to see their investment in action.

Please, can we get some official answers to the questions everyone’s been asking lately?

    – How much are we paying for ground time? The full price?
    – Will these bungees breaking cost more money?
    – Obviously we’re not going to reach $400,000 by the end of today, so what does that mean? Is the blimp going down tomorrow?

In the name of True Transparency, we need these questions answered before many of us will pay more money. We desparately need a status report on the financial end of this. With the Ron Paul Blimp project under a business structure, it is even more important that financial matters are clear.
